For 28 years, free outdoor concerts at the Grandview Library have been a highlight of the summer in Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff.
Bring your blankets & your picnic baskets and relax on the Library Lawn for summer fun and great bands!
Tuesdays in June & July from 7:30-8:30 pm.
- 6/4: The Professors (‘60s rock)
Supergroup featuring members of 1960s Columbus bands The Dantes, The Dominions, and The Mods.
- 6/11: The Conspiracy Band (R&B/funk)
High-energy fun for all ages with "Columbus's Band" (Columbus Monthly).
- 6/18: Dave Powers (Jazz)
Exceptional pianist/singer and two-time Emmy Award winner.
- 6/25: The British Invasion (‘60s music)
Outstanding tribute to 1960s English groups.
(Sunday, 6/30, 7 pm: Special Lawn concert with Grammy-nominated children's musician Justin Roberts. Presented by St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.)
- 7/2: The Randys (Eclectic oldies)
Fun group featuring 1950s & 60s gems with great harmonies.
- 7/9: Agent 99 (Classic rock)
Excellent 1970s party band playing everything from Fleetwood Mac to Al Green.
- 7/16: The Majestics Quartet (Classic soul/rock)
Great Motown sound with group formed in the 1960s as Upper Arlington High School students.
- 7/23: Arnett Howard’s Band (Creole funk)
Danceable rhythm & blues for the entire family with this Columbus favorite.
- 7/30: Flying Lama (Rock)
Terrific rock band featuring Grandview dads Jack Liberatore and Rick Van Deusen.
