The mission of the Grandview Heights Public Library (GHPL) Foundation is to raise private funds to ensure the long-term financial security of the library and enhance its service

s, enabling it to serve as a dynamic place where lifelong relationships and learning develop.

The GHPL Foundation’s Endowment Fund, established through the Columbus Foundation in 1993, serves to fulfill this mission.

The perfect gift for the holidays is back!

The Foundation is partnering with Krema Nut Company to offer a selection of three different boxes.

Each box includes a reading snowman ornament!

Proceeds support the Grandview Heights Public Library Foundation.

Orders must be placed by Monday, December 1.

Flat rate shipping anywhere in the US. Free local delivery (Grandview and Marble Cliff only) the week of December 8.

Annual Campaign

Consider making a year-end gift to the GHPL Foundation’s Annual Campaign.

Your tax-deductible donation helps ensure the long-term financial security of the library, enhance its services, and increase the library’s community outreach.

Your donation can be recognized with an ornament (pictured) placed on the Remembrance Tree in the library atrium during the holidays.

12th Annual Grandview Chocolate Walk

DATE: Fall 2026
LOCATION: Grandview Heights, Ohio
TICKETS: A limited number of $25 tickets available.
TICKET PICKUP: Purchased tickets will be available for ticketholders to pick up inside the library’s First Avenue front doors from 4-6 pm on the day of the event.

Enjoy a walking tour of Grandview with unique chocolate stops at participating businesses. The event benefits the Foundation while highlighting Grandview Height’s outstanding, pedestrian-friendly business district.

Flights with Friends

Enjoy delicious samples and the latest library releases at socials around Grandview Heights!

13th Annual Herb & Veggie Plant Sale

The Foundation will be selling a wide variety of high-quality herbs and vegetables just in time for spring planting. All proceeds benefit the library. Order & pay online or download a paper form, complete, and return with payment to the Circulation desk. Paper order forms are also available at the library. Delivery is  available only for Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff for a $5 fee.

The Big Give

Look for the next The Big Give, a special 25-hour online giving event presented by The Columbus Foundation. The GHPL Foundation receives 100% of your donations to its Endowment Fund at the Columbus Foundation.

Ways to Donate

Your gift may be designated as well as non-specific. While a gift in any amount is truly appreciated, cash gifts at the $200 or $250 levels or higher offer additional benefits to donors.

  • Remembrance Plaque
    A permanent engraved nameplate will be attached to the Remembrance Plaque in the library atrium with a donation of $500 or more. Gifts of $1,000 or more may be paid on a quarterly basis. Forms are also available in the atrium.
  • Memorial Donations
    The GHPL Foundation is always honored to accept memorial donations from the family and friends of someone whose life was especially enriched by the library services or staff. We can supply memorial gift cards to be distributed at memorial or funeral services and appreciate being added as options for donations in an obituary notice.
  • Special Occasion Donations
    Milestones such as an anniversary, retirement, graduation or birth are some of the wonderful opportunities to be acknowledged by a gift to the GHPL Foundation.
  • Legacy Society
    This elite group of supporters of the library is committed to ensuring the continuing excellence of their local library and to making a lasting difference through a planned gift or bequest.
