Library accepting used DVDS, CDs, & more
The Grandview Library is launching a campaign to receive donations of gently used movies, music and video games!
Drop off items in the box in our DVD section, or simply hand them to a staff person. Materials will either be used for circulation or added to the Friends of the Library Book & AV Sales. Receipts for the donations are available at the Circulation Desk.
We can use:
- Fiction & non-fiction DVDs, particularly TV series
- Blu-ray Discs
- Music CDs
- Audiobooks CDs
- Wii, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS games
The idea for this campaign came from Joelle C. Khouzam, library patron and Grandview Heights City Attorney, as a way to stretch Library dollars after the unprecedented state funding cuts. Now that the holidays are past, patrons may be clearing out their supply of movies and such to make room for the new.
Thank you for your donations!
