JUST ADDED! Thurber workshop for kids

Kids grades 4-6 are invited to a Thurber House Fable Writing Workshop on Saturday, February 12, from 1-3 pm, at the Library!

Hear fables of the celebrated Columbus writer James Thurber, then learn how to write your own! 

Valerie Cummings helps you unleash your imagination to write a fable - guide animals through a funny story and have them learn a lesson! 

For grades 4-6. Limited to 25 participants. The workshop is free!

Don't miss the celebration party at Thurber Center on Sunday, March 13, where participants from Fable Writing Workshops around Columbus are invited to take part in arts and crafts, an open mic to share your fables (voluntarily, of course), and receive a booklet of your library’s fables. You’ll get to see your fable in print!
