Board President honored with portrait
Grandview Library Board of Trustees President Alphonse P. Cincione was recently honored with a portrait for his many years of outstanding service to the Grandview Heights Public Library and the communities of Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff. The portrait, unveiled at a public reception in the Library Atrium on January 18, was painted by Peggy Eagle, former Grandview resident and Library staff member. It is showing temporarily on the second floor by the elevator, before moving to its permanent location in the Quiet Reading Room.
Mr. Cincione has served on the Board since 1971 and has presided as president since 1990. His leadership has guided the Library through many challenges and improvements, and his commitment to serving the community has helped garner the Library its reputation as one of the best public libraries in the nation.
Thank you for all your service, Mr. Cincione!
