Library usage increases, budgets decrease
As the economy declines, more people are flocking to America's libraries to save money on books, music, video, computer & Internet services, and leisure activities.
At the same time, libraries (the Grandview Library included) are facing budget decreases as states struggle to save money, too. Many libraries are forced to reduce services & hours - some must even close branches.
