MAY 8: Grandview Freecycling Festival
Come to the "Bring Something, Take Something Away" recyling event on the Library Lawn, the day after the Grandview Garage Sale!
It's the Inaugural Grandview Freecycling Festival: Sunday, May 8, 2011, from 9 am-2 pm. (Drop off ends at 1:30 pm.)
- Bring a used item that you don’t want or need anymore and “shop” among the other items people bring.
- There will be free crafts for kids, food carts, and free flowers for mothers!
- Admission is free and open to the public.
Excluded items: paint cans, corrosives, chemicals, flammables, toxics, broken glass or ceramic items. Major kitchen appliances (refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers), mattresses and box springs, sofas and household trash. Let’s keep the Library clean and safe for everyone!
- Freecycling is a way to unclutter your garage, attic or basement.
- Retrieve, repair, and reuse things that your neighbors no longer need.
- When you Freecycle, you help keep reusable stuff out of the landfill.
- Freecycling is a great way for the whole family to celebrate Mother’s Day.
