E-readers available for loan

 

Preloaded e-readers are now available to borrow – and to take home!

Five Barnes & Noble Nooks and two Apple iPad Minis feature a collection of bestsellers.

Plus, each Nook is designated with books from a particular genre:

  • Nook 1 — Romance
  • Nook 2 — Mystery/Suspense
  • Nook 3 — History/Biography
  • Nook 4 — Fiction Bestsellers
  • Nook 5 — Nonfiction Bestsellers

Both Minis include books in all of these genres, as well as graphic novels.

Also, you can also browse the Internet on the iPad Minis. (You will need a wireless connection.)

Each e-reader circulates for 28 days with one renewal (if there are no holds). Late fines are $3/day.

E-readers are available at the Reference desk. All you need is a Grandview Library card in good standing and a state-issued ID.

LAPTOPS AVAILABLE FOR IN-LIBRARY USE. 10 PC laptops are available to check out at the Reference desk (for in-library use only).

Grow the Grandview Library Foundation’s Endowment Fund during a special, 24-hour online giving event called The Big Give, presented by The Columbus Foundation.

The Columbus Foundation is covering all credit card fees, so 100% of donations go to directly to the Endowment Fund. Major credit cards accepted. Gifts begin at the $20 level.
