Bid notice for library repairs

PUBLIC NOTICE: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids will be received by the Fiscal Officer for the Grandview Heights Public Library, 1685 W. First Ave., Columbus, OH 43212, until 12 noon, local time, on April 9, 2019, for the fire alarm replacement project based upon documents prepared by Dynamix Engineering, Ltd. Estimated construction cost: $147,000. Bids will be opened and read immediately afterwards. Submit questions to Stuart Hill PE (shill@dynamix-ltd.com; 614.443.1178).

Contract documents may be purchased at cost plus shipping from Franklin Imaging, 500 Schrock Rd, Columbus OH 43229 (printroom@franklinimaging.com; 614.885.6894) and may be inspected during normal business hours at plan rooms in the area.

A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 12 pm on April 2, 2019, at the Library in Conference Room A. Ohio prevailing wage law applies to this project.

A Bid Guaranty in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders must be submitted with the bid. A bid may not be withdrawn within 60 days of the bid opening. The Library reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, reject any or all bids, and conduct investigations into bidder responsibility.​
