GHPL’s 12th five-star rating
The Grandview Heights Public Library is 1 of 8 U.S. public libraries to receive 12 consecutive five-star ratings from Library Journal.
This year, the journal’s Index of Public Library Service evaluated 6,333 U.S. public libraries across the country. Ratings are based on 2017 data from the IMLS—physical/digital circulation, visits, program attendance, and Internet/wireless use, each per capita.
261 U.S. public libraries received star ratings, and 85 libraries received five-star ratings.
GHPL is 1 of 25 Ohio libraries to receive a star rating and 1 of 10 Ohio libraries to receive a five-star rating.
In addition to GHPL, six other Central Ohio library systems received star ratings: Bexley Public Library, Columbus Metropolitan Library, Upper Arlington Public Library, Wagnalls Memorial Library, Westerville Public Library, and Worthington Libraries (also 1 of 8 U.S. public libraries to receive 12 consecutive five-star ratings).
Thank you for making GHPL one the best public libraries in the country!
