Library closed until further notice

Following ongoing coronavirus prevention guidelines from local, state, and national health officials, the Grandview Heights Public Library will remain closed until further notice to help reduce the transmission of the virus in our community.

Look for updates about our online services at ghpl.org and on social media. Library staff will continue to assist patrons online and by phone at 614-486-2951.

Access e-books, e-audiobooks, magazines, movies, and music from our Digital Collections, plus online research and learning from our Research Collections. Download the free Grandview Heights Public Library app, available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

All physical material due dates will be adjusted accordingly. Outdoor return bins will remain closed; library materials should not be returned to the library during this time. There are no late fees for overdue materials.

Census questionnaire online

For the first time, the United State Census is offering its 10-minute questionnaire online.

The Census occurs only once every decade and is mandated by the U.S. Constitution.

Your response helps to direct federal funds to local communities for schools, roads, and other public services. It’s also used to determine your political representation at all levels of government.

Learn about fascinating local history from the Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Historical Society.

Explore their website for images, maps, personal stories, and more.

The interactive historical timeline touchscreen located on the second floor of the library during business hours is also available online.

The Society’s new monthly Archives Room Open House will resume when the library reopens. Open Houses are located near Nonfiction on the second level of the library on second Sundays from 3-5 pm.

Ancestry Library Edition is available remotely to all Ohio library cardholders through June 2021 at ohioweblibrary.org/db/ancestry!
