GHPL closed March 15-April 7
In the interest of public safety during the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in Ohio, the Grandview Heights Public Library (GHPL) will be CLOSED from Sunday, March 15, through Tuesday, April 7, 2020. The library is currently planning to reopen Wednesday, April 8, 2020.
Following the Ohio Governor’s recent ban on mass gatherings and closing of all K-12 schools in Ohio, the library is continuing to take precautions to ensure the safety of patrons, staff, and everyone in the community.
All physical material due dates will be extended to Wednesday, April 8, 2020. Library materials should not be returned to the library until after April 8. There are no late fees for overdue materials.
Digital resources are always available at ghpl.org. Access e-books, e-audiobooks, magazines, movies, and music, plus research and learning tools, from our Digital Library. Download the free Grandview Heights Public Library app, available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Additionally, library staff will be assisting patrons by phone at 614-486-2951 and online at ghpl.org when possible during this closure.
GHPL will continue to monitor information about the virus from federal, state, and local health agencies. Updates about library operations will be provided as they become available through the library’s website, enewsletter, and social media.
GHPL thanks our patrons for their patience and understanding during this time.
