Due to concerns about the ongoing threat of COVID-19, the Margaret Atwood author visit presented by the Grandview Heights Public Library and eight other Central Ohio public libraries originally scheduled for September 13, 2020, has been postponed.

The 9 presenting libraries are: Bexley Public Library, Columbus Metropolitan Library, Grandview Heights Public Library, London Public Library, Plain City Public Library, Southwest Public Libraries, Upper Arlington Public Library, Westerville Public Library, and Worthington Libraries.

No exact date has been confirmed, but the presenting libraries are working to reschedule this event in fall 2021.

More information will be shared about the rescheduled event as it becomes available.

Steps to use our curbside pickup service:

GHPL StoryWalk

The Grandview Heights Public Library’s StoryWalk® is now open at C. Ray Buck Park, 1280 Goodale Blvd.

Take a stroll around the park, and stop at reading stations along the way as you complete a story.

This is a delightful, innovative way for children — and adults — to enjoy reading and the outdoors at the same time. Develop your child’s early learning skills by discussing things you learn in the book and things you see along the trail.

Follow the trail to start reading! The first book is Bear Came Along by Richard T. Morris and illustrated by LeUyen Pham.

Stories change periodically, so visit again soon.

Presented by the Grandview Heights Public Library and Grandview Heights Parks & Recreation.

Funded by the Grandview Heights Public Library Foundation and Northwest Kiwanis.

StoryWalk® was created and registered by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Vermont.
