GHPL’s 14th five-star rating
The Grandview Heights Public Library has received its 14th consecutive five-star rating from Library Journal.
GHPL is 1 of 5 U.S. public libraries to achieve this distinction.
GHPL also ranked #1 nationwide among libraries our size.
This year, the journal’s Index of Public Library Service 2021 evaluated 5,846 public libraries across the country, with 261 libraries receiving star ratings.
Ratings are based on 2019 data from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)—physical/digital circulation, online content usage, visits, program attendance, and Internet/wireless use, each per capita.
In addition to GHPL, three other Central Ohio library systems received star ratings: Columbus Metropolitan Library, Upper Arlington Public Library, and Worthington Libraries (also 1 of 5 U.S. public libraries to receive 14 consecutive five-star ratings).
Thank you for continuing to make GHPL one of the best public libraries in the nation!
