GHPL breaks ground on new outdoor stage, site improvements for 2024 centennial
The Grandview Heights Public Library is excited to kick off construction for improvements to its east lawn, drive-thru, parking, and pedestrian pathways beginning in late November 2023.
A significant portion of the project is being funded with a donation from the Grandview Heights Public Library Foundation. Thank you to the Foundation for making this project possible!
Improvements will include a new covered outdoor stage for library events, a permanent exterior drive-thru, enhanced traffic flow and parking, and improved pedestrian accessibility and walkways.
Phased construction will continue through early spring 2024.
The project is expected to be completed in time to kick off the 38th Annual Music on the Lawn summer concert series and celebrate the library’s 100th birthday.
The library will remain open during updates but there may be temporary disruptions.
WSA Studio is the architect, REALM Collaborative is the landscape architect, and Lehman Daman is the contractor for this project.
