FRI-MON, NOV 15-18: Library accounts unavailable
The Westerville Public Library will be joining our 18-member Central Library Consortium (CLC), giving you greater access to library materials!
From Friday-Monday, November 15-18, our computer system will experience some service disruptions, as Westerville Public Library is added to the CLC.
During this time:
- You can still check out items & access digital content during this system update!
- Patrons should have their library card when checking out items.
- Don’t have your card? See a staff member for assistance!
- Cards are needed to use self-checkout stations at the library.
- Save a digital version of your library card to use when you visit the library. Get the free GHPL App from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Current account information & item holds through our catalog will be unavailable.
- We will not be able to check in items, place holds, renew items, or pay fines.
- No items will be due during this time.
- All CLC library systems (including Westerville) will be offline during this time.
- Delivery of consortium items may experience delays during this time.
- E-books/Digital Media & Online Research services, library WiFi, and library Internet computers are expected to be available.
Thank you for your patience as we welcome Westerville Public Library to the Central Library Consortium!
GHPL is a founding member (1988) and the Administering Library for the Central Library Consortium (CLC).
67 million items are available to our cardholders through a partnership among the CLC and statewide networks SearchOhio and OhioLINK.
The consortium will now include 18 independent library systems in seven counties serving more than 1.8 million residents. It provides for cost and resource sharing among libraries to offer greater access to library materials and faster delivery.
