An Evening with Rick Steves
The Grandview Heights Public Library and 11 other Central Ohio libraries will present an Evening with Rick Steves on Thursday, February 20, at 7 pm, at Mershon Auditorium (1871 N. High St. Columbus, Ohio).
In 1978, a 23-year-old Rick Steves put a journal in his backpack and traveled the famed 3,000-mile “Hippie Trail.” That 60,000-word journal became his newest book, On the Hippie Trail: Istanbul to Kathmandu and the Making of a Travel Writer.
Join popular travel writer and public television host Rick Steves as he shares vivid stories from a trip that inspired his mission to broaden our perspectives through world travel.
